Captured from the air above San Pablo Bay, these sunset photos reveal the quiet beauty of the Carquinez Bridge and the surrounding shoreline. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the sky shifted from gold to deep indigo, casting warm light across the bay’s surface and the weathered structures along the waterfront.

This shoot was done using a DJI Mavic 4 Pro, focusing on the patterns of light, water, and architecture that define this part of the Northern California coast. From the decaying piers of Crockett to the clean lines of the bridge, every frame reflects that mix of nature and industry that gives the bay its unique character.

For me, this area has always been a reminder of how beautiful the everyday can be. It’s a place where calm water meets the skeleton of old industry, and sunsets seem to last just a little longer.
